For some time now Kieran and I have been considering the best way forward to preserve and enhance the long term interests of the firm's clients.
As a result I am pleased to announce an agreement has been reached to transfer all work carried out by the practice to Johnson Tucker LLP, the well established North East of England property consultancy and RICS Regulated Chartered Surveyors, with whom we have had a close business relationship over a long period. The transfer will take effect from 14 September 2014.
Like ourselves Johnson Tucker have a principled approach to business and they are valued by their clients for integrity, foresight and discretion whether forging deals, maximising the performance of a property portfolio or providing independent valuation advice. They offer a range of professional services broader than that currently available through Swaisland Harris Associates and we are confident we have found a good home for our clients with a longer term view in mind. Full details of Johnson Tucker can be accessed at johnsontucker.co.uk
One of the reasons for this change is to allow Kieran and I to plan for retirement. We have to both acknowledge the time is approaching when control must be handed to younger but equally well qualified and experienced fellow professionals.
Kieran and I will continue as Consultants. We will closely supervise and monitor the handover which should be a seamless exercise from your point of view on existing terms. For the foreseeable future we shall both be available to contact for advice and guidance through Johnson Tucker or if you wish to call me direct at any time whatsoever you are welcome to call my personal mobile phone. Contact details for Johnson Tucker and an introduction to the staff who will be caring for you will follow shortly.
